It receives emergency cases and provides first aid and treatment with qualified and trained medical staff to deal with all emergency cases. The department offers services:
1/Surgical emergencies: – General surgery emergencies, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, urology surgery, vascular surgery, as well as minor surgeries and plaster.
2/ Internal medicine emergencies: – Internal medicine emergencies, heart diseases, and digestive system emergencies, in addition to the crisis room and EKG.
3/Paediatrics Emergency: – To treat all children’s emergency cases.
4/ Emergency Pharmacy: – It has all the free emergency medicines and meets the needs of patients in terms of medicines and medical supplies during medical emergencies. It plays an important role in providing quick and effective treatment to patients and ensuring their safety.
5/ The Central Laboratory: – Provides all laboratory tests (routine tests, blood tests – chemistry – hormones – diseased tissues and needle biopsy in addition to bacterial tests for blood, urine and saliva cultures, with a total of more than (120) laboratory tests.
6/ Blood Bank: Fully equipped and under the supervision of the state’s central blood bank.
7/ Ultrasound: Equipped with modern devices and performs regular and colored diagnostic imaging.
8/ Echocardiography (ECO): Provides a modern service for imaging the heart and heart valves.
9/ X-ray room: Provides a diagnostic service to image all parts of the body using a modern X-ray machine.
10/Short-stay complex: – It provides short-stay service for (24) hours in accidents for internal medicine, surgery and pediatric units and contains (30) beds.
