The Director’s Speech
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Allah the Almighty said : (Strike with your foot; this is a spring of cool water to wash and to drink.) (Sad, verse 42) Allah the Almighty has spoken the truth. Praise be to Allah, by whose grace good deeds are accomplished. Praise be to Allah, who is manifest in the hearts of His beloved ones with what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and has not occurred to the heart of man, hidden behind quantity and number. Now then, when we read this noble verse that the founder of this lofty edifice – may Allah have mercy on him – chose as its motto – coupled with the same noble supplication that our master, the knower of Allah, Sheikh Al-Badri – may Allah have mercy on him – used to supplicate with, and after whom this great edifice is named – we undoubtedly realize the profound meanings and values of the message and humanity that this institution and those in charge of it adopt, drawing inspiration from these eternal meanings from the pure approach of its founder – and continuing on the path of those seeking the face of Allah the Generous. It is undoubtedly deeper than being a therapeutic institution that patients go to for treatment and cure, but rather it was a destination for spiritual healing before physical healing after they touched therein the lofty professional meanings of the humanitarian message of medicine. It is applied and a tangible reality in it, but it was more comprehensive than that as a destination for improving medical education in its various fields and a beacon for students of knowledge and a haven for them, as they see knowledge as a way of life and interaction before it is curricula and methods to receive and obtain academic degrees. In conclusion, we say that what has been achieved in terms of accomplishment and miracle is only a drop in the ocean of ambition and lofty hopes that are not limited by the boundaries of the impossible or imagination and are not shackled by weakness of determination or lack of resources, but rather it is a journey that we have pledged to ourselves to continue with to its goal and objectives as long as there is a pulsating vein in us, deriving support in that from Allah the Almighty and then the vision and insight of the founder of this great work. And the sincerity and prayers of the righteous and the keen. May Allah guide us and you to what is good for the country and its people and what improves its facilities.
